RMT Carousel Night

White & black - ice BLUE eyes

February 1, 2010
REST IN PEACE my dear friend

Carousel made such an impact in the saving of the Myotonic breed by providing many kids with incredible facial features, body build, beautiful temperaments and his gorgeous ice blue eyes. He was the very first blue eyed Myotonic buck to be registered in Canada. His legacy will live on in the breed with the many daughters and sons he sired and continues on through many grand-get.
His final kids will be born in May and June of 2010.
I will never forget you!

Foundation Buck

Excellent conformation, large size, exceptional length of body with even muscling and a nice quiet temperament to go along with it.

Carousel throws his excellent facial structure, features, perfect ears and ear set on to his kids. Ninety percent of his kids have blue eyes with 80% of those having the desired ice blue eyes.

Even though Carousel is mostly white he has black pigment. His blue eyes are not the result of lack of pigment (pink skin); he is a TRUE blue eyed and throws it onto his kids regardless of their coloring.

There is nothing more gorgeous to see than ice blue eyes on a white goat that is lined with black skin around the eyes, (black eye liner)!

Sur

Tan, White & Black

MGR registered
Bred by Poplar Ridge Farm

Foundation Buck

Very solid and muscular with a nice length of back and has great depth in chest and rump areas. Extremely quiet and gentle.

Sur's has a personality like no other. He is in love with me and his livestock guardian dog. It is an amazing sight to watch - standing guard over his dog, all the time, keeping every other buck away from her. Then when I go into the pen he keeps all the males away from me! He will place himself between any male and me, snorting, grunting and motioning to them to not come any closer. It is so funny. I just love this guy!

A wonderful sire who's kids are thick and solid with nice length of back.
They are also very colorful!! Sur really does throw those tri-colors!
