Sales Barn
We reserve the
right to refuse or cancel a sale at any time.
A non-refundable deposit of half the purchase price is required to HOLD your selection.
(Deposits will only be returned if the kid/goat dies or I have to cancel the sale because of an unforeseen reason. Deposits will not be refunded if you change your mind and don't want it so make sure it is what you want.)
If you
are interested in purchasing a Myotonic Goat just to have fun
chasing and
scaring it so you can watch it fall over you will be really
disappointed.
They
won't all fall over because you yell "BOO" or blow the
horn of a vehicle, or scream at them.
To do so is nothing short of ANIMAL ABUSE!
It is cruel to purposely scare any animal and it should not be done to these goats either.
These
goats are VERY smart and will learn very quickly who to avoid. They
will become difficult to catch.
They will learn not to show any myotonia at all and will no longer
"faint".
So if that is your only desire to own one of these goats, don't waste your money....you WILL be disappointed!

2008 wether - chocolate
brown and white - full brother to one at right. He is a bit shy, but it
wouldn't take much to make this fellow into a nice pet.
|
2009 wether - chocolate
brown with darker shading. He is a bit on the skittish side, but shows
lots of desire to want to be petted if you spent the time with
him.

|
2009 wether - brown,
white and black - polled (no horns). This fellow tends to stay
away from human contact, but he is loose in my yard most of the day and
will come when called and comes through the gate back into the goat
pen.
