Tennessee Bucks

Sorry we do not stand our bucks to the public or lease them out.

A Buck is 50% of your herd

He is the most important part of your breeding program.

All of his kids will have his genes and will pass them on.

If he doesn't have the breed characteristics - he won't improve your herd or the breed
and he shouldn't be used for breeding.

Just because he falls over and can breed doesn't mean he should be allowed to!!

Purchasing a lower quality buck just because he is cheaper,
will cost you a lot more in the end.

Pay close attention to the facial features and ear set!
Select only those that will compliment your does.
Help improve this Breed in Canada!

Be picky and Choose wisely !

Home bred - Riding Mountain Treasures

What "Chaos" this fellow caused the minute he was born!

His dam, "Eddie" was a first timer and we were not expecting her to kid for a couple more weeks. I was just finishing up cooking a real nice supper after a VERY long day and was looking forward to a relaxing evening and enjoying a nice meal....we were so sick of sandwiches!

All of a sudden we heard this huge kafuffle outside. Oh MY!! There was Eddie in the only patch of dirt in the whole pasture giving birth. Now Tika, the livestock guardian dog who was with them thought she had found a dirty wet abandoned kid and was protecting it at all costs even from his own mother!

We are proud to bring Chaos into our buck herd.
